In NY, at what age do I have to stop paying child support?

Absent emancipation prior to, the age is 21 years.

You never HAVE to stop but most people want to stop as soon as possible. Ususally if the child is not going to college, the payments stop at 18. If the child is going to college then 21 but I have seen courts require until 23 in certain cases.
