Legal Question in Family Law in New York
I have four child support cases, three to which I pay child support and one is pending.
Two of the cases that I pay child support to reside in NYC, and one is in Miami.
Between these three, I am left with less than thirty percent of my pay check.
The fourth case is in Houston and I could not attend the case hearing. I notified the court of this fact, and was told that a decision would be sent to me within three to four weeks.
What is the legal amount that child support can take from my paycheck in New York City, and do the out of state cases have to abide by that percentage?

Under the Child Support Standards Act you are entitled to a deduction from your gross income for the amount of child support you are paying as a result of another court's order. However, that does not alter the percentages in the act.
