Child Support

My daughter is due in July, and the ''father'' wants to sign over ''legal rights''. What exactly does this mean? Will my daughter still be able to receive child support?

Your daughter should consult with a qualified attorney who has reviewed the document before signing anything. There is no way to know the meaning of a document without reading it. She can call my office to scheudle an appointment at her convenience.
