Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Child Support

I was divorced in 2004 and my ex is recently remarried to her boyfriend of 6 years. My daughter is allowed by my spouce to call him Dad. When I visit I get told stories about her Dad. I feel that this has undermined the relationship that I have with my daughter. My last trip to see her she told me that she would like to change her last name to his. My new wife posted pictures of my first daughter with my new daughter on her Myspace page and said that she was her step daughter which is basically correct. My ex wife called me up raising hell about my spouce calling her daughter a step daughter. What can I possibly do about this double standard? Especially since I have told my daughter that she will call my new wife by her name.

Re: Child Support

First of all, we can easily go in and have the court force the mother to stop all this "dad" nonsense, and any other action that undermines your role. Second, who cares about being yelled at about ones myspace page?
