child support enforcement levy payments

i owe a small company. i am certain i do not owe a former contractor any payments. i have received a letter stating i owe money. should i be concerned with any future penalties or worse? please reply when possible. thank you.

There are no future penalties. The only thing that may happen in the future is that the contractor may file a lawsuit seeking money against you or your company for the amount allegedly owed.

You should ask for an accounting.
