Legal Question in Family Law in New York

What can child support be used for.

I have a ex that uses my child support to fix her car. Is this legal? She does not work or have any other form of income then child support. Is it right for her to be using it for her own things?

Child support may be used for providing food, shelter, clothing, transportation, etc. for your child. Unfortunately, you do not have the right to dictate how the support is used.
