Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Child Support

My husband just recently been hit with a child support order that includes arrears. I know that if he continues to fall behind, they can seize his tax return. Should I be concerned about filing my taxes with him this year. I don't want my funds to be tied up in this mess of his.

You are correct. It is easy enough to have you use most of the deductions and to file separately.
