Re: Child Support

Have you gone to Family Court to have the arrears adjusted? If you were paying the amount ordered by the ORder of Support and you can prove that then may get an adjustment. However, I suggest you hire an attorney to do this. Because as long as there is an outstanding balance, the Support Collections Unit will continue to take money out of your check.

Re: Child Support

1. Are you upset because the support is being taken directly out of your account or

2. Is the problem that 'support collection' claims there is a balance owed (you are behind) and they are wrong and 'support collection' is taking the money out of your account to cover the arrears?

If number 2 is the problem, then this can be solved and you will get the extra money taken out returned to you. Just show 'support collection' your records.

If number 1 is the problem, then you need to go to court to solve the problem.
