Legal Question in Family Law in New York

What happens when im sent to child support, but the mother of the child is working off the books, and not proving income?

My daughters mother is receiving 150 bi-weekly and I am willing to give her an additional 50.00. Last year I made under 30,000 and this year i am looking to make about 45,000. What happens when she works off the books, wants to file for welfare, and takes me to child support? Also, will I get hit for back child support even though I have receipts of money orders?

You may seek a modification of child support but you must bring credible evidence of your wife's income.
