Child Support

Does my ex have to pay child support even though our daughter stays with him 3 days a week? We were never married, lived together the first six months of her life then he left and moved an hour away from us. He picks her up for 3 days every week. She lives with me technically. We have never been to court until today, I took him for Child Support and he demanded an attorney to fight having to pay support, on the basis that he sees her 3 days a week. Does he still have to pay Support?

As the non-custodial parent your ex would have to pay support.
