Legal Question in Family Law in New York

child support

I am currently paying child support for my 2 children. When the oldest turns 21, who determines the new payment amount. Do I just calculate 17% ( I believe that is the rate for 1 child in NY) or do I need my attorney to write up some legal papers

You may either agree with your spouse or you may petition the Family Court for a reduced amount based on child's emancipation.
