Legal Question in Family Law in New York

child support

i have been paying support and this past summer i recieved a settelment from my former employer because i am 100% disabled and also recieve s.s.i. my settelment was a 5 year deal and i am married now with 2 kids that live with me that are mine. my problem is the other childs mother found out about the settelment and took me back to court and my support is through the roof now. i am trying to buy a house for my family now so what happens to me if that money is spent on buying a house and then i put in to go back to court to lower my support? because my only other income is my s.s.i. please give me some advice, thank you
