Legal Question in Family Law in New York
Child Support
I have a brief Question. I am a single mother with two kids and i am going to file for child support and my kids father claims if he signs off his parental rights, he don't have to pay for child support. Is this true? I live in the bronx. Thank you.

Re: Child Support
No, that is not true. A parent's obligation to a child can not be signed away.
