Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Child Support

I have recently been ordered to pay child support through the court. If I put a percentage in a trust fund for my son will this be "Legal" in the eyes of the Court? I want to be sure my son recieves the money and not his mother. She has recently declared Bankruptcy and is not good with finances.

No, it would not be ok. My guess is that your wages will be garnished. Make payments as directed until this occurs.
