Legal Question in Family Law in New York
Child support
If I re-marry will the child support be adjusted to include my spouse's income with mine? And if my ex-wife re-marries, does her spouses income get combined with hers?

Re: Child support
You can have child support adjusted to reflect your circumstances, but you must often fight in court to make that happen. You should not allow yourself to be pauperized by an arbritray court order. Fight for your rights!
Re: Child support
Normally no on both counts
The other spouses income only counts in
the rare needs analysis case, and then
only to eliminate expenses
Re: Child support
Remarriage does not affect the amount of child support you owe. Your new spouse, or your wife's new spouse, has no legal obligation to support a child which is not biologically related.
