When does child support stop

When does child support here in New York end ?..I have two son`s, one is 18yrs old and the other is

19 going on 20 this coming May2007..Being now that they are young adults! when does this legally end for me ?.. I would finally like to move on with my life..Please kindly let me know what the law is for my state.Thanking you very much for your time. Be well!

Ordinarily, age 21. However, a settlement agreement may specify another age, and a court may order continued payments past age 21 if the child is in full time school (usually college) until a later age.

In NY a parent's child support obligation continues to age 21, unless otherwise terminated by a Cout Order.
