Re: child support
You must comply with the court order or petition the court for modification.
Re: child support
To begin, it depends on what your divorce decree says. Most often, life insurance is meant to provide for support to the kids while they are minors if you should have suddenly died. IF that was the case with your life insurance policy, you should have no problem changing it. If it was to be sure you could pay back your alimony then you may not be able to change it. It pretty much depends on the reason for the policy and its renewal enforcment.
You will have to probably bring an action in the court that issued the decree, or at the very least go to the support unit of the Family court to get a change in your agreement.
Good luck.
