Child Support New York State

Am I required too pay child support on a step child that I was never allowed too discipline except when the mother told me I could. The step child acknowledges that I am not his father. I am a resident of Ohio and she just moved too New York in December of 2007

there is a possibility that you would if the two of you are married. If he would become a public charge without your support.
