Legal Question in Family Law in New York
child support
My youngest son turns 21 on Sept.21, 2008. Because he is still in college, I continue to pay child support.
His mother has threatened to take me to court to increase child support for previous years. I have paid all stipulated support to date. Can she do this, and does the law provide for it?
Thank you.

Re: child support
No. You cannot go backward. For there to be an increase in child support you must make the application. If there was an increase it would commence on the date of the application.
