Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Child Visitation

I have a 2 year old daughter and I want to file for child support however, I am concerned about visitation with her father. He is an active member in her life(see her once a month) and his family is very negative. My concern is: he will get unsupervised visit with her and I do not what he will expose her too.

As far as child support, he was paying for her daycare however, he no longer provides any financial support(3 months). He has never paid the daycare on a consisent basis.

Re: Child Visitation

What is your question? If you file for support, he may file for visitation and he will be granted some visits unless there are "extraordinary" circumstances that would prevent that.
