Legal Question in Family Law in New York

my children

me and my boyfriend split up in 2006 and we lived in texas,i moved to ny with my children and the texas courts let him come take my children from me. the courts are now saying theres nothing they can do for me. i have no money to go to texas and fight. the oldest child is not his,and i know where her real dad is,he never knew he had a child. what am i supposed to do? please help me

Re: my children

The Texas court had jurisdiction over the children and acted properly when you took them out of the State.

Do not screw up this older child who believes the Texas Dad is her Dad just so you can take her away from him.

Either go back to Texas and fight for them or let them be.
