Legal Question in Family Law in New York
children's law guardians
My children have a law guardian in a custody case and order of protection case. Up until this point in time the law guardian has supported their opinions and desires. Today on the phone he said that he was going to tell their mother that they did want to see her, when they do not. He also said that he was going to ask the judge to lift the order of protection and there is an issue of physical abuse. The mother phones the law guardian frequently and I believe his opinion may have been swayed. How do I get a new unbiased law guardian for my children?

Speak to the Judge when you are back in court.
