Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I am citizen of a foreign country and currently live outside the US and am planning to visit the US as a visitor. I and my ex-wife had a messy divorce case and I am afraid there "may" be few things she has done which I may not be aware of. I know that she got ex-parte orders on property division and child support a few years back. How do I find out any pending state or federal warrants? If I get my own background check done (the way it is done during employment background checks), would that reveal anything? Any other free/paid resources I could use online or otherwise to find out about pending warrants? I am only worried about being arrested at the airport during arrival or departure.

Locksley Wade Law Office of Locksley O. Wade

Its rare for a civil matter to be converted to a criminal matter. You can do a background check for any open civil cases or judgments. Most of the time such judgments will not prevent you from moving freely about the country.
