Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Commuting

Hello,

My ex wife has moved from NJ to Pennsylvania. We have 2 kids. I live in NY and use to pick up the kids in NJ every 2 weeks. For me to travel to Pennsylvania and back is a 6-hour trip, not counting any traffic; yet she finds all kinds of excuses to meet me in NJ (one hour trip from where she is)

What are my legal rights if any?

We've never been to court for anything, we had, until now, found a way to make things work.

I want to keep seeing my kids every two weeks.

Please, advise.

A very caring and concerned father

Re: Commuting

If she is willing to keep meeting you in NJ and that is where you always met the kids then there seems to be no problem. You may have a right to seek custody of the kids based on her moving if you are not seeing them. You should see a lawyer right away.
