Conflict of Interest

My ex-husband used a local attorney for a sexual abuse case that my oldest daughter from a previous marriage accused him of. I now have to go back to court re: our children and some issues with visitation. The attorney that I would like to retain is sharing an office with the attorney that my ex had used for the sexual abuse charges. According to a friend of mine there can be conflict of interest if they share letter head as well as staff. Depending on how they have the office or contract set up.
