For how long can a judge decide on a contested divorce case (two hearings in court already) in New York state?

There is a lot of information needed. It depends on what the issues are, the stage the divorce is,the purpose of the hearings already held, are both parties represented by counsel. Contested divorces can vary in duration depending on several factors including the one mentioned.
