How can I contest divorce papers, if I don't agree with the grounds?

You send your Answer in writing that you DENY the grounds stated, to the opposing side or attorney and file a copy of your Answer in Court, along with an Affidavit of Service, which proves that you "Served" or sent the Answer to the Other side before you filed your Answer. Your Answer may also include your Counter grounds for divorce against your spouse.

You would need to file and serve an answer. If you wish to seek a divorce on different grounds you can assert a counterclaim.
