Legal Question in Family Law in New York

crazy grandma drama

My boyfriends mother has done nothing but try to break us up. She has threatened to assult me and kiddnap my son. She is being investigated by CPS for the third time and thinks Im going to let her see my son. My boyfriend doesn't want anything to do with her. She has no relationship with my son he does not know her she hasn't seen him since he was two weeks old he is now three months. Do you think she has any STANDING in court based on this infomation?

Probably not. You and you boyfriend are the child's parents. She would have to prove you were unfit parents and that what you are doing is not in the child's best interest.
