Legal Question in Family Law in New York
Credit cards and debt
My wife and I hav elived apart for over a year, but still married. Can't get a divorce. How can I prevent her from incurring debt and credit card charges that I'm responsible for? She doesn't work, and there are no cards in both of our names. Who do I notify? What can I do?

If you do not want to file for a divorce, you may file for a legal separation.
