custody case

im paying for daycare expenses for my child and the child is not going can i stop the payee from getting the payments and can i get the payments back from all the times i was paying and the child was not going

Under the child support guidelines for the state of new york, each party pays their proportionate share of day care based upon their income.

If the child is not going to daycare, you can petition the court to change the order so that you do not have to pay childcare.

daycare payments would then stop as of the date you filed the petition.

so hurry up down to the family court and file a petition to modify a child support order.

as far as getting the money back, I don't think that the court would order a refund
