Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Custody

I went to court for full custody for my daughter. I have a short order form, me & the father came to agreements in meeting half way for visitation. However how much rights do I have as the guardian of the child with an short order form? What does this order form details? Is there anyway that I could change the agreements to having the father coming all the way to pick up the child instead of me meeting him half way?

Re: Custody

A short order form signed and submitted to the court is binding. If you didn't want to agree that was the opportunity to inform the court. However, if there is a legitimate reason for the change, the court may entertain the modification.
