custody fight
me and my sister wee just wondering, if child is born and the father signes the birthcertificate, but the child lives with the mother , who has full cutsody? she wants to take the baby out of county for 2 weeks and he says he can put her in jail wiht out his consent??? is this true?

This is a difficult situation. While there can be no criminal complaints without a custody order, it is still in everyone's interest to have such an order.
A custody order including visitation will give everyone a structure to work with and avoid much of the friction that can be so destructive.

Unless there's a Court order directing that the mother is not allowed to take the child out of the County, there is no criminal offense doing so.
