Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Custody over my 10 month old daughter.

My wife and I were never married and had a baby. Now we split up and she wants to move to texas, i live in new york. Is she able to do this or do can i stop her through the courts.

Re: Custody over my 10 month old daughter.

You can file for joint custody and visitation of the child in New York Family Court.

You may also argue that Texas would be too far and would interfere with your visits.
