Legal Question in Family Law in New York
my daughter is not married but she has child . she is loosing her job . can she leave the state or can the babies father stop her. he gets the baby on weekends.

A father does not lose his right of visitation simply because the child was born out of wedlock. A child deserves to be raised by both a father and a mother. Therefore, the short answer is that the father may stop the child from leaving New York to preserve his right of visitation.
