Legal Question in Family Law in New York

My daughter is 17 and pregnant. While still on good terms with the baby's father, they are not planning on wedding. She would like to know what the father's custody rights are, right after birth while she is still breastfeeding.

Unless the father pushes for visitation, nothing can happen. If he does go to court for visitation or custody, get an attorney.
