Legal Question in Family Law in New York

daughter has sole custody of child from last marriage and wants new husband to adopt and then they want to move to the state of florida. Any problems here that they will face? Childs father is still paying child support. Will this be affected?

The new husband can't adopt unless the biological father is given notice and consents. If the biological father consents, all child support will cease.
