Legal Question in Family Law in New York
My daughter-in-law has opened up a trust savings account for my 2 granddaughters. Does my son have legal access to these accounts should they divorce? Does he have legal access to any saving accounts that his wife has opened in her name only?

Children trust account are for the benefit of the children. In a divorce situation, regardless of who's name is on a bank account, it may be subject to equitable distribution as a martial asset.
