My ex-husband has been unemployed and collecting unemployment benefits since November of 2005. I the divorce aggreement it state's he is to pay for medical and 50% of day care costs. Since he's been unemployed I have not received any of the additional monies my children are entitled to. I want to take him to court for this but cannot afford a lawyer and I don't know where to turn. How can I get him to pay?

You may petition the Court or the Child Support Collections Unit, to "garnish" or attach father's unemployment (or other) benefits, for child support due.

You may also enroll children in State medical benefits program @ nominal or no cost to you.

Good luck,
