Legal Question in Family Law in New York
Dear LawGuru Team,
I suspect my husband of cheating. If this is proven and we headed for a divorce, how would our assets be shared. I have my personal bank account. Would my personal account be considered martial property and get divided?

Property division is based on what is fair considering the circumstances, there is no set formula just a number of factors. if your personal acct has marital funds then it's marital.
