Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Name not on deed to house

My name was never on the deed to our house. We have lived there for ten years, married those ten years also. I am divorcing and was wondering what claim, if any, I have on the house.

Re: Name not on deed to house

If the house was the primary marital house it should not affect your rights that your name was not on the deed for equitable distribution purposes.
