deeds

i gave my ex the land in our divorce. his lawyer did not file the quick deed. now he is selling. am i liable for taxes and if i dont sign the sellers agreement can he sue me?

If there was an agreement that you would deed the land to your ex-husband, and you subsequently refuse to perform under the agreement, not only would the husband have a cause of action against you for breach of contract, he may be able to hold you in contempt of court.
