Delayed QUADRO...
7 yrs ago , I got hammerred [Pro-se] in a divorce. Our home of 25 years was to be sold, proceeds split - [36K]
My ex's pension[s] were to be QDROed. [78K][I was crippled,left destitude]
The Judge signed Her lawyers docs, stating division. I filed an RJI , requesting that homesale be after QDRO[didn't want to die homeless.]
Judge agreed ,stating that I should QDRO my 50% share, and recieve distribution Prior to sale of home [order=''without prejudice'' until distribution made.
It's been 7 years, and now I must sell home. I made all payments[w/o help from her, or her Masters degree,which I aided her in obtaining over a 10 year period, while caring for our 2 sons.[now going 2 college] Have offered to put disputed funds into a trust for boys , but she now says her divorce attoney says he can alter the divorce judgement so that she'll now recieve 50% of the current value ! [ after 9/11, - now 200 K. ] she paid NO expenses towards house, bought her own in fact.
I have a buyer,we both signed a binder, now she intends to blackmail me @closing,
I'll refuse,leaving us open to a lawsuit by prospective buyer ! What to do? I need a QDRO attny,but will he be able to handle ''amuck'' Divorce Attny ?

This is a very messy situation. YOu should consult with an attorney NOW before you are faced with another lawsuit by the buyers.
