Divorce with a business involved.

How do I prove to the Judge that I started a business, which is now sucessfull, with the person I was married to for 15 years, I put everything in his name and now he says it belongs to him.

It does not really matter who started the business if you were married at the time. The court will look at the business as an asset of the marriage, which will be evaluated and divided along with the other assets. I am available for a confidential consultation. Roland R. Acevedo

If the business was started during the marriage, then it is a marital asset. That puts it in the pot, for purposes of Equitable Distribution, regardless of whose name the business is in.

Of course, the business must be appraised, or you will get nothing from it.
