Legal Question in Family Law in New York

about divorce and custody and child support
this is the story i have 2 children and 1 is 7yrs old girl and my son is 5yrs old and has autism and need several supplements and treatment that medicade does not cover he was in a accident that gave him 350,000 thats thousands and only paid 2700.00 for his children and spent all the rest on himself in one year he is getting another 10,000 now i was wondering what it would be worth if i went through with court and if it would be worth my time he spends hardly any time seeing them and have it written down on a calender once a month if thier lucky i also want to know what they would say about me not reporting that he had gave me money not to mention it was not given all at once this is throughout the 4 years that he has given that amount over time now at 200.00 dollars/month that he said would be paid he now owes me 1000.00 and that isnt alot he i have to wait until he gets the 10,000 and will pay me what would you do or what should i do?i want to know if i have a chance at alamonyhes living as if he doesnt have kids and im struggling to get by. PLEASE HELP!
