divorce
i want to get divorced but i dont know where my wife is and dont know how to contact her, also at the time of our marrage she had a expired visa from germany. How do i get a divorce and is our marrage legal?

We would have to attempt to locate your spouse. If we cannot, then we would have to obtain an order permitting service by publication.

If you cannot locate her you can still get a divorce. However, she may be in Germany so there would have to be efforts made to locate her here and obtaing proof that she is not here. This would have to be done by an attorney though because you have to get the court's permission for substituted service, since her whereabouts are unknown.
