divorce filing

we were married in ny, lived there for 12 years. moved to florida for the next seven years. i moved back to ny seven months ago, and want to file for divorce. my soon to be ex is still in florida. where do i file?

If you live in NY one year and more, and you were married in NY, you can file for divorce in NY.

You can file in NY after you have lived here for one year.
