Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Divorce

I want to find a cheaper way to get my divorce done even if I have to go through a paralegal for it. I would like it to be a one signature. How would I go about this?

Re: Divorce

Well that means you and your spouse have to agree on EVERYTHING. There cannot be any disagreements about grounds for divorce, child support, custody, debt, property distribution. Because these are drives up the rates for divorces because they are no longer uncontested. You can do it yourself or you can contact me directly at my email address.

Re: Divorce

You can file the divorce yourself (pro se).

You can find the documents on the NYS Courts web site.

However, if you do need legal representation (for any reason) a paralegal cannot represent you.
