My girlfriend paid an attorney 10k &after 2 years she's still not divorced or seperated & never got a bill ,so she fired him yesterday at court. what can we do?

Hire another lawyer...both amounts (time and cost) seem excessive... Especially the time.

Hire another lawyer. Our rates are much lower that what you were paying.

Why were you in court- is the divorce contested? Under the rules, you are entitled to a bill every sixty days.

You may want to contest the attorney's fees through arbitration or a trial de novo. Under the law you are entitled to a bill every 60 days. Why did she keep on paying without a written statement?
