Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Divorce

My husband is an alcoholic ( he denies it) and he is often mentally abusive. We have been married 21 years and he has been drinking for the past 10-11 years. We own our home together. I stayed home and raised HIS son from the time he was 2 years old. He is now 26. I don't work and I want to file for a divorce. My husband said I would not get the house unless I buy him out. I'm 57 years old and have no place to go. What are my rights??
