My husband and I have been married for almost 8 years and in that time he acquired an inheritance to which we purchased a home, if he and I were to divorce what claims, if any would I be entitled to from the inheritance?

Technically, you are not entitled to any of the inheritance.

However, if he took money from his inheritance and placed it in joint bank accounts or other joint assets, which is known as "commingling", you may be entitled to a portion of the amount that was commingled. Depending on the nature of the asset, the Court could distribute a portion of the money to you.
